first clash between Beaumont and Hamersley since Durham!

Por que???? Why??

Full-time Newcastle Falcons 13-18 Sale Sharks. A deserved win for the visitors as they looked sharper from the whistle in the second half. They stuck to their gameplan and played to their strengths using their back row and centres well. A special mention for Man of the Match Magnus Lund for his tireless display carrying and tackling well, also Danny Cipriani for a moment of brilliance for Leota's try. Ball goes to touch and ref blows for full-time

Clock says 80 minutes as Newcastle are going backwards in attack just outside the visitors 22m

Newcastle awarded a penalty, this looks like their last roll of the dice as they kick to touch inside the Sale 22

Sharks defence looking very determined to stop this Falcons attack, play just inside the Sale half

Falcons putting on pressure as they look to snatch it in the final few mins of the game, until ref hands possession to Sale through a penalty, the hosts running out of time

Sinoti showing very quick footwork as he looks to unlock the Sharks' defence which has held up well in the second half

Excellent vision and passing from Cipriani sends Leota over as he shows he still has great gas
