Rugby is back with a bang at The Bay on Sunday when Nottingham take on rivals Bedford Blues to kick off their 2018/19 Greene King IPA Championship campaign.
The Nottingham team will be positive at home after having a great pre season. Their Head Coach Neil Fowkes added: “We’ve enjoyed a really strong preseason and I think we have a lot of positives to build upon on Sunday.” “Sunday is the true test of how far we’ve come and no matter what happens, there will be areas we can improve upon.” There will be no doubt that Nottingham will be at their best infant of their home crowd.
The Bedford Blues side will be captained by Lee Dickson for the away fixture against Nottingham. Blues Director of Rugby Mike Rayer said: "Both sides on Sunday are very well known to each other so the game could go down to the wire. If there is one thing certain though, it is that the players are definitely looking forward to it.”
