Very good performance from sale, apart from the match against wasps one of the best sale matches of the season

A super game of rugby ends with the result Sale deserved. It finished with a very scrappy 10 minutes of rugby but Sale hung on and fought with everything to try finish their "disappointing season" on a high. A game which saw very fast and skillful rugby was thoroughly enjoyable to watch for 70 minutes. 5 minutes into the second half Sale has a 17 point lead. The gap was narrowed rapidly by Bath as they were eager to push for a semi-final spot. Leicester came out on top of their match which consequently ended Bath's hopes anyway.

The game finished with 14 men as Neil Briggs and Francois Louw committed foul play. A disappointing end to an exciting game. AJ MacGinty deserved man of the match
