Hello all and welcome to Ultimate Rugby's coverage of this first international test in what is a weekend studded with mouth-watering clashes. This evening, it is South Africa A and the England Saxons at Bloemfontein. The talent of both line-ups really demonstrates the depth within the South African and English setup. Both sets of players will evidently be keen to impress this evening with aims to ultimately progress to the senior setting, so let's hope for a thriller!

Sam Jones is a huge talent and a very athletic 8. Strong as an ox. Think Ewers should be in the 1st team rather than Saxons tbh!

Seen him play a few times, ewers is a world class 6, armand is a world class 8... Just a bit confusing but we'll see on the day

Sam Jones has played a fair amount in a very competitive back row, I agree though not sure why he's starting over some other more obvious choices

Any reason England are starting a number 8 who hasn't played for a season?

Cheers
