Great win for Canterbury as they grab a win and break the long Taranaki winning streak.

The hooter has gone and Taranaki get a penalty. Tap and go. The Naki on attack

Canterbury with a great turnover 10m from their line. They kick it clear and Taranaki counter but concede yet another tackle penalty

Canterbury 10m out

That yellow card could be the difference in this game as Taranaki make it back to a full compliment of players

Taranaki are suddenly all square with Canterbury after they run in 2 quick tries. That last one a great running try and the visitors did well to keep the ball alive in the tackle

Great work by the Canterbury side as they exploit the 14 man Taranaki defence and if anyone deserves a try tonight it is Todd who has been immense for the defending Champions

Naholo & Taranaki can feel hard done by there as Naholo has legitimately gone for the intercept and knocks on. The referee saw it differently and sends him to the bin for a deliberate knock down

Tamanivalu with another great carry and offload to Naholo but that was some great play by the entire Taranaki side as they kept the ball going forward and exploited the spaces

Blade Thompson makes 20m from the base of that scrum and Taranaki clear their lines.
