Ask Connacht what it's like to have an Irish ref

It always amazes me when everyone complains when a Welsh team get a Welsh ref but the amount of times I watch games where an Irish team has an Irish ref and no one bats an eye I don't understand what the difference would be

how anyone can say that was a good referee is beyond me, it is very unfair that a Welsh man can ref a Welsh team it's ludicrous!!!! As much as it hurts as a loss Ulster were far from good, some star players but it's not a one man team, nothing special from Scarlets but we're able to catch Ulster on the overlap far too many times. Poor game, poor result

Great defence and speed from Scarlets, Ulster good but just needed something more. Poor show from the referee.

Full Time here in the Kingspan stadium, a disappointing loss for Ulster today who slip down to 4th place and Scarlets take 3rd in the PRO 12. King named as man of the match for Scarlets, their defence was impeccable throughout the game barely letting Ulster through at all. Ulster also to blame with too many unforced errors.
