What for?

Who got man of the match ???

That's all folks. Edinburgh hang on to get their Challenge Cup campaign off to a winning start. Most had favoured Bordeaux for the win tonight, but the Scottish side showed true grit in defence and took their scoring opportunities well. Bordeaux will feel aggrieved by this resultt but will only have themselves to blame. In the end, handling errors and a lack of creativity cost them the game. With the possession they had, they lacked the clinical finish. Credit to the Edinburgh defence for the tenacious defending. Thanks for staying with our live coverage throughout this evening. Enjoy your weekend!

Yellow card Edinburgh. Burleigh is sin-binned for a dangerous tackle on Lonca. No complaints here, a definite yellow.
