ZEBO should have been sitting in the stands...contributed ZERO. Ferg was excellent as usual though.

@Shane Zebo was fairly anonymous. Wade played well earlier but Gatland is hopeful that Bowe will be fit again in two weeks time! Fingers crossed!

Worst ref I've ever seen

Unfortunately the main talking point of this game will be about the referee. But referee aside Ireland will be disappointed with this result. They looked quite one dimensional in attack with one off runners and rarely making clean breaks. On the other hand USA clearly did their research on Ireland and on the ref, they did well to consistently disrupt Irish ball. They were committed in defence with a number of big hits!
It will take a few days for both sides to recover from this highly physical affair but be sure to check back next sunday where Ireland will take on Canada and USA will take on Tonga in the Pacific Nations Cup.

Refs interpretation in rugby has such an influence on results so I cannot understand where the standardization of refereeing is so arbitrary... Frustration.com
