It's allover at Adams Park and Wasps have ran away with a convincing victory over rivals London Irish in a game that looked open until the power of the Wasps scrum really showed in the second half and the home side found themselves in control. Some great rugby played throughout by both sides but the key decider was to be the Exiles' discipline and weakness at the scrum. Two unanswered tries from Guy Thompson and Daly in the final 20 and a brilliant kicking performance from Lozowski sealed the victory for Wasps, whose LV Cup prospects have been revived. London Irish will now look to the Premiership where they will look to progress in the standings. That's all from us here at UR. Thanks for following.
What a try from Wasps in the dying moments. Lozowski breaks from his own 22 and races upfield. He finds Jacob in support who gives to Elliot Daly who runs in to finish. Alex Lozowski converts before the whistle is blown.
A huge defencive effort from Wasps as they do well to turn over inside their 22 and clear their lines.
Irish on the attack in search of the Wasps whitewash. Wasps defence holding firm on the 22.
After repeated collapsing of the scrum. Craig Evans produces a yellow card sending Jamie Hagan to the sin bin. Wasps go to touch and form a maul off the line out. A strong drive carries Guy Thompson over to touch down. Alex Lozowski converts 36-22. Wasps in control.
The scrum becoming a huge problem for Irish as they give away another kickable penalty. Lozowski calmly strokes it over to give his side a 7 point lead.
After good attacking from Wasps, Irish gift Wasps a penalty and Lozowski makes no mistakes in front of the posts.
Wasps spill and Irish look to counter attack. A wayward pass goes into touch however so it will be another wasps line out.
Wasps awarded a penalty 5 meters out and opt for the scrum. Dangerous position here for Irish.
Another wasps penalty from the scrum. Irish simply can't deal with the Wasps power. Lozowski kicks for the corner.
