Bulls announce new Super Rugby coach

After a lengthy process, The Bulls have announced Pote Human as their new Super Rugby head coach.

Human, with over 200 first class appearances, played 8th man for Eastern Province and the Freestate. 

His coaching career started at the Griffons before moving to Tuks, Griquas and a number of other clubs/age group provincial sides.

His highlights include being assistant coach for the Bulls in their Super Rugby win, assistant caoch for the Ricoh Black Rams promotion year and head coach of the Blue Bulls when the drew the Currie Cup final.

Victor Matfield was favorite for the position but pulled out due to personal reasons. Deon Davids was also in the running.


Human will take charge of a new look Bulls team that will boast the services of Duane Vermeulen and Schalk Brits next season. 

Alan Zondagh has been appointed as the Director of Rugby and current Springbok coach and Director of Rugby, Rassie Erasmus, will mentor the Bulls during the upcoming season
