Toulouse ran out 30-23 victors over Lyon in this Challenge Cup clash at The Stade Ernest Wallon. The home side got off to a flying start and led by 20-0 after just 31 minutes. Timilai Rokoduru was then sent off for a dangerous tackle. Lyon managed two penalties just before half-time, leaving the score at the break at 20-6. Lyon got over the whitewash twice in the second half but Toulouse managed a further two tries as well. A great win for Toulouse but a very disappointing loss for Lyon.
