Leinster utterly demolished Scarlets in this European Champions Cup Semi-Final and deserved the victory as the 38-16 scoreline suggests. James Ryan opened the try scoring inside 10 minutes and from here Leinster looked really comfortable. Further scores from Cian Healy and Fergus McFadden along with three penalties from the boot of Leigh Halfpenny, brought the scores to 24-9 at the interval. Scott Fardy compounded the Scarlets misery when he crossed the white-wash 10 minutes into the half and a superb score from Johnny Sexton at the hour mark cemented the win for Leinster as the scoreboard read 38-9.
