Cornell du Preez ruled out for four weeks with throat injury
Worcester Warriors have released a statement confirming that Cornell du Preez sustained an injury to his throat during the team's Premiership clash with Wasps at Sixways earlier this month.

The 27-year-old fractured his cricoid and also sustained damage to his voice box. He is currently undergoing treatment in hospital, where he will remain for the next four weeks.

Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons confirmed the news saying: “Cornell is making good progress and is receiving the best treatment in hospital. Everyone at the Club sends him their best wishes and we will continue to support him at this difficult time. We wish him a speedy recovery.”
