The Queensland Reds have called in reinforcements as they try to salvage some respect from their dismal Super Rugby season.
The side have only won two of their 11 games and were crushed 58 -17 by the Crusaders in Christchurch last night.
Former Reds and Wallabies coach John Connolly has joined the coaching staff as a consultant alongside head coach Richard Graham.
Connolly is contracted to the franchise for the rest of the season, starting with next week's game against the Melbourne Rebels.
