England snap up new temporary skills coach

27 year-old Ed Robinson, son of former England and Scotland boss Andy, has joined the England camp as a temporary skills coach while they await the arrival of Jason Ryles from Australia whose presence has been delayed due to complications regarding Covid-19.

Robinson is the backs coach of the Jersey Reds and has cultivated a good reputation.

"Ed's a talented coach," said England boss Eddie Jones.

"We're looking forward to welcoming Ed to our coaching staff for the tournament and we'd like to thank Jersey Reds for their cooperation and support in making it happen.


"He will work to help the players improve.

"We understand and support Jason's decision and are expecting that he will be back with us this summer."
