Farrell on his selection - 'People can say what they want'
England fly-half Owen Farrell has addressed his selection in the side ahead of George Ford for this weekend’s game against Wales.
"All I'm trying to do is my best for the team. In fact that's what I have been trying to do all summer, be the best player we can be. It is what it is and I am thankful to have this opportunity.
Farrell said that any negative reaction from outside the camp didn’t bother him ahead of Saturday.
"People can say what they want. it's the people inside the camp that count to me,” Farrell said.
"External factors don't matter to us. The people who matter are inside the camp, not outside. All I want to do is my job. It doesn't motivate me.
"We go into the game excited. It's a massive challenge and we are looking forward to it. This is why you play rugby, to be involved in games like this
