Jack Conan

The young number 8 put in yet another magnificent performance in the blue of Leinster tonight. He lead by example, displaying a remarkable work rate both in attack and defence. He made 18 carries, making a total of 96 metres for his side. He beat 6 defenders and made one clean break which was instrumental in the bonus point securing try. He was also a rock in defence, making 9 vital tackles at key moments of the game. All in all, a simply superb performance from Conan which earned him the man of the match award.

Blair Kinghorn

The fullback shone brightly throughout his sides rout of the Dragons in Edinburgh. He popped up to finish off an impressive first half try and was pivotal in creating a second half score for Hidalgo-Clyne. He showed great attacking flair and pace with ball in hand gaining a total of 129 meters with 4 clean breaks and 6 defenders beaten throughout the night. Very promising form from the 20 year old full back.


Faf de Klerk 


Sales' scrum-half had a strong performance this evening particularly in attack. He kicked well to clear his lines relieving pressure for his side in close quarters. He showed good explosiveness when sniping and always managed to keep the defenders on their toes with one line break to note in the first half. Despite not getting the win De Klerk showed great leadership and provided a beacon of light for his side.
