Georgia pushing for 6 nations spot
Georgia are desperate for a crack at the Six Nations after impressing again in the Rugby World Cup.
Speaking after the loss to New Zealand, head coach Milton Haig believed his side could become hugely exciting with the right number of competitive games.
"It's certainly something that publically I've been speaking about at every opportunity I get,” said Haig.
"Something like that for our development is crucial for us. In the long run if we're to develop in a competitive national side consistently, it's the type of competition we need to be in.
"You can see by Argentina's progress and their inclusion in the Rugby Championship, how far their team has come along.
"Again we'd love that opportunity. We understand that it's a very difficult decision for the six partners to make but I think it would grow the game globally.
"It would certainly open up another big market in Eastern Europe. Maybe that's something they should consider.”
