Giteau on Armitage

Australia back Matt Giteau believes that England will cope without Toulon flanker Steffon Armitage in their squad.

“It depends on the style they want to play. It worked for us in that one instant (the win over New Zealand in the Bledisloe Cup).

"If they push for that then hopefully it will continue to work. But I’m sure there will be a lot of changes and depending on the team you might see a different combination for us.”

Giteau and Drew Mitchell returned to the Australia squad after the ARU relaxed their rules on overseas players.

“It’s a big issue for us but now it’s been done and we are both very thankful that we’ve been given the opportunity to come back and be involved for our country in such a massive thing as the World Cup.”
