Gloucester v Bristol Top Performers

Gloucester v Bristol Top Performers

Gloucester maintained their unbeaten run in the Premiership beating Bristol 35-13 at Kingsholm.

Here are our Top Performers from the clash.

Jake Polledri - Gloucester Rugby

Polledri was rightfully named the man of the match in this match despite Charles Sharples scoring a brace.

The flanker was all over the pitch making 11 tackles and 19 carries. He topped the running metres made in the clash (80) and beat 7 more defenders than any other player (9).

Lewis Ludlow - Gloucester Rugby

Gloucester's back row was certainly firing tonight with Polledri, Ackermann and Ludlow all having strong games.

Ludlow made 9 tackles and gained 74 running metres from his 8 carries beating 2 defenders.

He also came up with two turnovers for his side.

George Smith - Bristol Bears

The former Wallaby received his second card in as many weeks but was absolutely superb for Bristol for the 70 minutes he was on the pitch.

He consistently slowed Gloucester's attack down with some great work at the breakdown and at the age of 38 still weighed-in with 19 tackles without missing one!

Charlie Sharples - Gloucester Rugby

The experienced speedster was in the right place at the right time to score a quick brace while Bristol were down to 14-men.

He received a great pass by Danny Cipriani to score his first and finished off a simple try following a strong maul for his second.

The second try was Sharples 50th Premiership try of his career.

Billy Twelvetrees - Gloucester Rugby

Twelvetrees ran strong direct running lines throughout the game that got Gloucester on the front foot.

He set the perfect platform to attack from which the likes of Danny Cipriani, Jason Woodward and co made the most of.
