Nottingham Rugby v Hartpury
Nottingham Rugby enjoyed a good win at home over Hartpury in their Week 13 clash.
Nottingham started sluggishly which Hartpury took advantage of, drawing first blood with a George Simpson try.
The game lapsed into a period of tight contest before Hartpury’s Sam Goatly scored their second try to go 14-0 up.
Nottingham finally found momentum in the 29th minute with their first try and added four more to Hartpury’s two to lock the scores up at 33-26 before the final whistle.
Ampthill v London Scottish
Amphill managed a good win over London Scottish in wet and windy conditions at the Grange Jaguar Bowl on Saturday.
London Scottish led 5-0 at half-time and had to defend heavily in the opening 20 minutes of the second stanza.
Ampthill took the lead on 66 minutes with a second successful penalty kick and sealed their victory in the 79th minute with a Gillespie try.
In other results, Doncaster Knights, Ealing Trailfinders, Coventry and Newcastle all enjoyed big wins over Jersey Reds, Bedford Blues, Yorkshire Carnegie and Cornish Pirates respectively.
