Harlequins name team to play Bayonne

Harlequins have made six changes to the starting XV as Aviron Bayonnais travel to The Stoop in Round 2 of the Investec Champions Cup on Sunday (14 December, KO 13:00).

Two of Quins' changes come in the front row as Fin Baxter returns after a week of mandatory rest to start at loosehead and Pedro Delgado makes his first competitive start for the Quarters at tighthead. Jack Walker continues at hooker.

Guido Petti Pagadizábal returns to the engine room to partner Stephan Lewies, while Jack Kenningham returns to the back row at blindside flanker. Will Evans resumes duties on the openside and Zach Carr shifts to number 8.

Will Porter starts at scrum-half once more, with the returning Marcus Smith set to pull the strings from fly-half.

Luke Northmore and Oscar Beard continue their partnership in the centres after scoring a try apiece in Dublin.

Cadan Murley skippers the side once more on the left wing, Cassius Cleaves retains his spot on the right and Nick David is name at full-back.

Jason Gilmore has opted for a five-three split with his options off the bench as Sam Riley, Boris Wenger and Will Hobson are set to be deployed at front row replacements.

Kieran Treadwell and Chandler Cunningham-South will provide strength and power from the bench as the back-five options.

Lucas Friday and Jamie Benson retain their place in the matchday squad, with Ben Waghorn set to make his first competitive outing of the season on Sunday.
