Izaia Perese ruled out for six weeks with knee injury

Reds winger Izaia Perese is set to miss 6 weeks of Super Rugby after partially tearing the ACL in his right knee.

Perese suffered the injury  in Queensland's clash with Fiji Warriors last Thursday, with scans confirming the injury.

This means that he will miss the team's first five matches, including their tour of Argentina and South Africa.

According to rugby.com.au, Filipo Daugunu would be the leading candidate to fill the hole left by Perese on the left wing against the Rebels, with Eto Nabuli still nursing a wrist injury.
