Jonny May’s turn of pace carries Gloucester to victory

Jonny May helped to rescue Gloucester’s season by producing a devastating
burst of speed to seal victory in a play-off match that left both teams
exhausted yesterday.



Gloucester, who won by five tries to four, will meet Bordeaux Bègles, the
French contenders, in a “home” decider next Sunday at Worcester.

Kingsholm
is unavailable because of a Madness concert the night before.



Madness was one word to sum up this contest, which raced along from the second
minute when Ross Moriarty, the Gloucester No 8, was driven over from a
lineout.
