Leicester Tigers suffer Henderson blow

The 23-year-old Scottish international will require surgery on the knee injury he suffered in the English side’s 35-26 home victory over DHL Stormers in Round 1 last weekend.

Henderson has started all eight of Leicester Tigers’ competitive games so far this season, the last four of which they have won.

He was part of a strong performance by the home pack last weekend, when they won all of their attacking lineouts, made the joint-most lineout steals in Round 1 and claimed 98.5% of their attacking rucks, also the best of the round.

In addition, their try conversion rate was the most prolific of Round 1 as they scored a try during 66.7% of their entries into the DHL Stormers 22.

In stark contrast, Stade Français Paris endured a miserable time in attack in their 28-5 drubbing at Sale Sharks last weekend.

They carried the fewest metres in Round 1 (211) and their tally of two clean breaks was the joint lowest of the round.

The Pool 4 game at Stade Jean Bouin begins at 17:30GMT and can be viewed on beIN SPORTS, TNT Sports, SuperSport and FloRugby.
