Leinster name their side to face Munster on Tuesday

Garry Ringrose captains the team, in a lineup that sees seven of the players who started last month’s win between the two sides in Aviva Stadium feature once more.

Hugo Keenan, Jordan Larmour and Rob Russell form the back three. Ringrose is joined in the centre by Ciarán Frawley,

Harry Byrne returns to the starting lineup, having missed the Sale Sharks win. He partners Jamison Gibson-Park in the half-backs.

In the pack, there is over 700 Leinster caps worth of experience, with four centurions starting the game.

Andrew Porter, Rónan Kelleher and Michael Ala’alatoa are in the front row, with Ross Molony and Joe McCarthy packing down behind them.

Max Deegan, Scott Penny and Jack Conan (pictured above) complete the pack, for the St. Stephen’s Day trip to Limerick.

Among the replacements, there is a welcome return from injury for Luke McGrath. The scrum-half last featured in the season opener away to Glasgow Warriors.

Speaking ahead of the game, Head Coach Leo Cullen said it’ll be a tough battle in Thomond Park.

“We only played Munster a few weeks ago. They started that game well, and we had to claw our way back. We will have to be more accurate. We will have to start the game better too.

“We will need to be able to deal with the conditions and the emotional pitch of the game too. There will be a big, passionate crowd. It’ll be an exciting fixture.”
