Match Preview: Edinburgh aim to kick start EPCR Challenge Cup bid
Edinburgh Rugby look to recover from their EPCR Challenge Cup Round 1 defeat as they welcome Castres Olympique to Hive Stadium on Saturday.
Edinburgh had the poorest rate of scrum success in their opening fixture (42.9 per cent) as they fell 31-18 at ASM Clermont Auvergne - despite wing Wes Goosen, full-back Tim Swiel and prop Javan Sebastian all scoring tries.
In contrast, Castres enjoyed a resounding 34-16 home win over Scarlets, with wing Josaia Raisuqe, fly-half Louis le Brun, scrum-half Jeremy Fernandez and No. 8 Abraham Papalii all running in tries.
They also made a round-high average of 5.4 metres per carry - more than any other team in the first round.
