Mitre 10 Cup Round 1 Highlights: Waikato v Canterbury

What a game from start to finish with Canterbury having the upper hand for most of the match. Waikato didn't take it lying down though and made sure to put in a fight against their opponents. Waikato had the lead for a lot of the game too but seemed to be the less dominant for most of the game until they were able to take the lead for the last time to go ahead 31-28. Canterbury could do nothing as Waikato started to dominate the game and eventually win it. Waikato win against Canterbury for the first time in eight games with a score of 31-28!
