Nic Groom to miss rest of Super Rugby with injury

The Lions have released a statement confirming that scrumhalf Nic Groom fractured his left hand in the Super Rugby match against the Bulls at Ellis Park on Saturday.

The 28-year-old will undergo surgery today (Tuesday) and will miss the rest of the Super Rugby season.

The Lions will face the Jaguares for this Saturday's quarter-final in Johannesburg.
