Player Movements: Scarlets

Scarlets have seen 19 players leave Parc y Scarlets this year. To cover the loss, they have signed 9 players that will inject their skills in the club's 2016/17 campaign.

Here are the new signings that have delighted the side:

Jonathan Davies (signed 13 November 2015 from Clermont Auvergne)

Davies left Scarlets to join Clermont Auvergne on a two-year contract before the 2014-15 season. He now returns to Scarlets for 2016/17.

He was part of the Clermont side that lost to Toulon in the 2015 European Champions Cup final at Twickenham.

Rhys Patchell (signed 15 December 2015 from Cardiff Blues)

Gaining international honours at Under-18 level and for Wales Sevens, Patchell burst onto the domestic scene with a man-of-the-match performance on his PRO12 debut against the Newport Gwent Dragons at the beginning of the 2012-13 season.

He went on to get his first cap for Wales in the tour of Japan.

Werner Kruger (signed 17 February 2016 from Bulls)

Kruger has made 116 Super Rugby appearances, and played four times for South Africa in 2011-12.

He was the first player to make 100 appearances for the Bulls in Super Rugby, and has signed to join Scarlets on a three-year deal.

Jonathan Evans (signed 22 February 2016 from Bath Rugby)

The former Newport Gwent Dragons No 9 moved to Bath last year, but with limited first-team opportunities.

Evans represented Wales U18s and went on to be the only Dragons player in Darren Edward's Wels U20s side in the 6 Nations.

Johnny McNicholl (signed 13 April 2016 from Crusaders)
