Positive News For Wales

Wales assistant coach Rob Howley had positive news to give at the side’s media conference on Wednesday ahead of facing England.

Key duo Liam Williams and Alun Wyn Jones both came through the day’s training session and should be ready for Saturday.

“Liam (Williams) and Alun Wyn Jones trained fully this morning and are ready to go.

"Our two props are still being assessed and hopefully there will be good news in the next 24 hours.

“Samson (Lee) is a bit further on than Paul (James) so we’ll just have to wait and see. There are props on standby and we’re waiting to make that call.

“We’ve had a pretty light week.  It is going to be important come Saturday night that we’ve got the ball. It will be a game of fine margins. There are not going to be many opportunities out there.”
