The Wasps backs show great handling skills which set Le Roux free and Wade finishes it off in the corner. Wasps turn over attacking ball go wide, Kyle Eastmond steps and has the pace to score, Gopperth making 2 of the 3 kicks. Hammersly broke through the defense, few phases later through an unorganized defense Harris breaks and Sean Robinson supports the ball carrier and gets a try. Wasps 19 - 10 Falcons Half Time.
Wasps immediately in the second half scored with James Haskell who crashing over the line. Wasps had a Le Roux try disallowed for forward pass. Gabriele Lovobalavu finished off a great try, made from a Simpsons break. Falcons had very little chances in the second half. Basset scored a breakaway for the final try. Gopperth converting all in the second half. Final Score: Wasps 40 - Newcastle Falcons 10.
