Waikato have made three changes to their starting line-up for Sunday's ITM Cup fixture against Otago in Dunedin.
There is a first start at hooker for Hame Faiva, who comes in for the injured Brayden Mitchell, while lock Jacob Skeen and centre Jordan Payne return after missing last week's win over Counties.
Skeen comes in for the injured Luke Katene and Payne replaces centre Chauncy Edwardson who moves back to the bench.
