Scotland Set To Open Their Campaign Against The Giant Killers
Scotland are set to open up their Rugby World Cup campaign against the Giant Killers, Japan, under the tutelage of Eddie Jones. Scotland are the final side to open their account in Pool B having not played yet. They would have initially looked at the Japan game as a decent test to get a win from to start the tournament but after Japan beating South Africa they may heed the warning and change their game plan slightly.
Japan have been forced into a few changes but have a number of players that can flip the game on its head. Scotland will be looking to neutralise to Japanese scrum and forward dominance with an eye on exploiting their rush defensive system.
