Seattle Seawolves confirm Anton Moolman as their new coach

The Seattle Seawolves have confirmed that Anton Moolman will coach the Major League side during the 2019 season.

Moolman will coach the side alongside player-coach Phil Mack for the coming Major League Rugby season.

The 48-year-old arrives from South Africa where he was the Director of Rugby of the Western Province Academy.

Seattle co-founder Adrian Balfour confirmed the news on the Rugby Wrap-Up with Matt McCarthy.

The former centre made over 50 appearances for the Boland Kavaliers in the Currie Cup. The highly respected coach in South African has worked with numerous Springboks at an age-grade coach prior to joining the WP Academy in 2014.

Moolman coached at Cape club side Hamilton RFC and will look to replicate the Seawolves winning season that saw them lift the inaugural MLR Shield.
