Six Nations: This France side are the worst I've ever seen

This is one of the worst French teams that I have ever seen.

Ever! Watching them play last week against Italy reminded me of those silent disco nights where everyone is listening to music through headphones; all the players were on the pitch moving around but no one has got a clue what the others are thinking or doing.

I found it painful to watch, not least because France used to be the side I most enjoyed playing against or watching.

They had the ability to throw caution to the wind and cast off their shackles.
