1. Gregory Fichten - Montpellier
 
The French loosehead prop was one of the standout performers in an impressive Montpellier forward pack this weekend as his side secured victory over Oyonnax. He carried dynamically throughout, was dogged in defence and capped off his excellent performance with a try.
 
2. Kyle Cooper - Newcastle
 
Cooper was the key man in an impressive Falcons front row performance as his side cruised to victory against. He made an impressive 10 tackles, secured 2 turnovers and managed to bag himself a try to round off a great overall performance.
 
3. Juan Figallo - Saracens

Figallo was the man of the match in a cracking game between Sale and Saracens. Figallo constantly put his opposite man under pressure at scrum time and has a 100% tackle success rate with a staggering 14 tackles.

 
4. Ross Molony - Leinster
 
 
The young Leinster second row was one of many excellent performers in his side's crucial victory over Scarlets this weekend. He made a staggering 18 tackles, some of which coming at key defensive moments in the game. He also provided a great attacking lineout option and managed to secure a couple of turnovers at the breakdown.
 
 
5. Scott Fardy - Leinster
 
Fardy has been a crucial cog in the Leinster machine this season and he proved yet again on Saturday how important he is to the province. Made 11 tackles missing just the 1 and his work rate in attack was second to none.
 
6 Tadhg Beirne - Scarlets 
 
The soon to be Munster man put in yet another phenomenal performance as his side narrowly lost to Leinster this weekend. He was an absolute nuisance throughout, making 10 crushing tackles, carrying dynamically and securing a simply incredible five turnovers. A really promising future prospect for Irish rugby.
 
7. Thomas Young - Wasps
 
Yet again, Thomas Young was magnificent for Wasps as they edged past defending champions Exeter to move into third place in the AVIVA Premiership table. He completed an amazing 25 tackles and missed none, secured 2 turnovers and carried 12 times for a total gain of 28 metres and was thoroughly deserving of the man of the match award.
 
 
8. Max Deegan - Leinster
 
Was very reliable at the line out for Leinster and showed great composure for a 21 year old. Work rate was top drawer, making 12 tackles and carrying 13 times, only bettered by MOTM James Lowe with 15.
 
9. John Cooney - Ulster

Cooney was on fire for Ulster against Edinburgh. Cooney’s passes looked sharp and he managed to score all of Ulster’s points, which included a converted try and three penalties.

10. Matt Toomua - Leicester




Outstanding performance from the former Wallaby racking up an impressive 23 points. Was pivotal in everything good Tigers did, missing just the 1 kick and scoring a lovely solo try showing off some silky skills.
 
11. James Lowe - Leinster

The New Zealander was Leinster’s most promising player bagging two tries in their victory over Scarlets. Lowe was constantly an attacking threat making 15 runs for a whopping return of 112 meters. 

12. Gael Fickou - Toulouse
 
A great weekend for the French international as he helped Toulouse towards a mammoth victory over Agen to keep their Top 14 playoff spot. A hat-trick for the centre who showed his true potential throughout the game, grabbed an assist and made a huge 143 metres going forward.
 
13. Giulio Bisegni - Zebre

The Zebre centre was instrumental in their upset of Connacht. Bisegni completed 12 tackles in the centre as well as averaging 10m per carry.


 
14. Chris Ashton - Toulon
 

 
What a season the former Saracens man is having in the South of France. Grabbed himself a first half hat-trick in Toulon's demolishing of Stade Francais. That's now 17 tries in his last 15 games!
 
15. Monty Ioane - Benetton

Ioane was in flying form as he helped Benetton secure their fifth league win in succession against Dragons at Rodney Parade. The nephew of former Wallaby Digby, continued his fine try scoring run with a solo effort as well as making a number of important tackles.
