Thing we learned: England vs Argentina

Tomas Lavanini's dangerous tackle WAS a red card

Fascinating to see a debate over this, but Tomas Lavanini's tackle is as clear a red as you'll see. No arms and uses his shoulder to make contact on his head, no debate a clear red card.

George Ford HAS to play 10

Ford's game management at 10 was superb, with some superb kicks to pin Argentina under pressure. Also looked very good running forward.

England pragmatic but effective

Many said before that England weren't easy on the eye, but with another bonus point win and QF spot secured England boss Eddie Jones won't mind. England were very direct going forward and zapped the energy from Argentina as England cruised to victory. The running of the back 3 for England was also very effective.
