Racing 92 edged Lyon 24-22 in round 22 of the French Top 14. Lyon kept the scoreboard ticking over with four first half penalties to two to take a 12-6 lead into the break. Racing started the second half strongly with two penalties and the opening try of the match sandwiched between them to hit the front 17-12 heading into the final quarter. Lyon stopped the bleeding with a penalty, but Racing responded almost immediately with their second try to take control of the match 24-15. Racing picked up two late yellow cards to finish with 13 players, but Lyon could only manage a single try as the visitors held on for the victory.
