Montpellier ran riot in the second half scoring four tries to secure a comprehensive 41-3 victory over second place Racing 92. Ruan Pienaar was in fine form for the home side as he put Racing back in their 22 with some fantastic kicks. Pienaar's fellow countryman Jan Serfontein scored the opening try of the match with a superb chip and chase before scoring his second later on the match when he ran a brilliant line through two would-be tacklers.
Montpellier took full control in the second scoring two quick tries to extend their 10 point lead from halftime to a 24 point lead in a matter of minutes. Nagusa and Picamoles add tries of their own with under 15 minutes left to play as Montpellier kept Racing scoreless in the second half to secure a fantastic victory.
