Top 5 performers of the weekend

Chris Robshaw

Robshaw was a pivotal member in his country's victory over Argentina at Twickenham. The blindside's work rate throughout was outstanding as he made countless carries, tackles and hit ruck after ruck. Robshaw has become a master at doing the unseen things and for this he is certainly one of the most valuable members in Eddie Jones' squad.

John Muldoon

The veteran number 8 was the stand out performer in Connacht’s victory over Cardiff. He was a handful at the breakdown throughout, getting in over the ball time and time again to secure countless turnovers for his side. He was a rock in defence putting in some key tackles at crucial points in the game, also displaying some beautiful footwork to control the ball at the base of the scrum which set up John Cooney for the first try of the game. A deserved MOTM award for the skipper.

Stuart Hogg

The full-back was instrumental in Scotland’s win over Georgia. A brilliant all-round performance, but particularly clinical with ball in hand, with countless metres made and an individual moment of brilliance that lead to a try from 50m out. Two tries to his name in what was an excellent outing from Hogg.

Garry Ringrose

Showed shades of former Irish star Brian O'Driscoll, the Leinster man looked dangerous going forward with some electric feet in Ireland's win over Australia. Playing out of position in 12,  Ringrose defended well with a crucial try saving tackle on Israel Folau as the Wallabies had all the momentum in the second half. Got a deserved first try for his country too.

Justin Tipuric

The rangy back rower was a work horse throughout his sides comprehensive victory over South Africa on Saturday. Immense at the breakdown, he caused havoc for South Africa creating turn overs and penalties making it a very frustrating afternoon for the Boks. Tipuric was also dangerous in open play and popped up to score the winning try, claiming a deserved man of the match award.
