Top Performers - Toulon v Edinburgh

Jaco Van der Walt - Edinburgh Rugby

The South African stand-off hasn't looked back since claiming the No. 10 shirt off Kiwi Simon Hickey. Van der Walt took the game by the scruff of the neck in the South of France and displayed his wide range of passing and strong running game as he took the fight to the three-times Heineken Cup winners. VDW was particularly impressive during the first half when he tore the Toulon defence to shreds with his brilliant playmaking skills. He ran for a gain of 26 metres, beat four defenders, made two clean breaks and scored 13 points to help send Edinburgh closer to the quarter finals.

Darcy Graham - Edinburgh Rugby

He may be small in stature but Graham makes up for his size disadvantage in heart. Graham was a constant threat for the Toulon defence and showed a real physical edge to power through Smaili for his opening try. His clever lines of running and deceptive step caused mayhem for the Toulon rearguard. He was a constant danger with ball in hand and ran for a gain of 98 metres, beating five defenders and making four clean breaks.

Viliame Mata - Edinburgh Rugby

The Flying Fijian was once again a real stand out for his side in tonight's victory over Toulon. Mata came to the fore with a strong all-round display and he was particularly impressive as a ball carrier, where he led the side with a total of 17. The highlight of the night was his incredible offload to set James Johnstone away for the game clinching try after making a small break, Mata drew in a couple of defenders before producing a magical over the top offload to open the space up to send his centre clear.
