Trio Sign New Deals At Clermont

Clermont has confirmed that Morgan Parra, Fritz Lee and Peter Betham have all signed new deals with the club ahead of the 2018/19 Top 14 season. 


Scrumhalf Morgan Parra (29 years old, 69 caps) has signed an extension that will see him remain at the club until 2022. "This is very good news for the club", said Franck Azéma."We all know the impact that Morgan can have on the group on and off the pitch." 

Fritz Lee (29) and Peter Betham (29) who were the two most used players during the 2017/18 season with Lee racking up 1807 minutes, while Betham played 1705. The pair have both signed for a further 3 seasons with the club which will see them stay at the club until June 2021.

"Fritz is a powerful player, he has shown that since his arrival in Clermont. With his extension, we will continue to build around him. Peter succeeded his integration in Auvergne and showed us that we could count on him. His playing time shows it and we are very happy to see him enrol in the long term in our workforce where we are convinced that his contribution will intensify further in the coming seasons. " said Franck Azéma.

Clermont also confirmed that the club will announce further extensions in the coming weeks.
