Wasps fly-half Jimmy Gopperth has been ruled out of Sunday's Premiership fixture against Gloucester through suspension after he was given a three-week ban for punching a player. The New Zealander, who has previously played for Newcastle Falcons and Leinster, pleaded guilty to striking Leicester Tigers full-back Mathew Tait during Wasps' 24-16 defeat at Welford Road on Sunday. Gopperth was sin-binned after leading with his arm in the air as he appeared to compete with Tait for the ball.Video..., Video: Wasps standoff Jimmy Gopperth to miss Gloucester clash...
