Wales team to tackle the Boks

Wales boss Wayne Pivac has rung the changes for his side to take on the World Champion Springboks in Cardiff.

There has been bad news for Wales this week as it was announced that captain Alun Wyn Jones and back-rower Ross Moriarty both require shoulder surgery after last week’s scrap with the All Blacks and both may even be out of action for the Six Nations early next year.

On the positive side, however, a host of Premiership players have returned after not being able to participate in last week’s Test.

Interestingly, young Ulster hooker Bradley Roberts – who was born and grew up in South Africa – has been named on the Wales bench. Roberts qualifies for Wales through a grandparent and was called up to the squad by Pivac after the withdrawal of Ken Owens.

The game is sure to be an almighty contest between two teams who have enjoyed a great rivalry over the years.
