Henry Purdy says he is ready to hit the ground running in pre-season after recovering from injury. The wing was missing for a lot of the last Premiership season through shoulder and ankle problems, which meant he only made 12 appearances in Cherry and White. With a new bill of health and a summer to focus on his fitness, the 22-year-old insists he is itching to get back on the horse as Gloucester re-start their efforts for a top-six finish.
