Lyon flanker Loann Goujon could face a lengthy ban after he was red-carded in Lyon's win over Toulouse on the weekend.
The French international was given his marching orders on the hour mark after he stamped Scotland lock Richie Gray with the Toulouse lock holding onto the Lyon flanker's leg off the ball.
Gray was shown a yellow card for his indiscretion while Goujon spent the rest of the game on the sidelines for his retaliation.
Luckily for Lyon, Noa Nakaitaci's early try and four Jonathan Wisniewski penalties and one from Charlie Ngatai was enough to secure success while defending champions Toulouse are still yet to get off the mark in the competition.
Goujon could face up to nine weeks on the sidelines.
