Eleven years after his first Wallabies call-up by Eddie Jones, Leroy Houston is reportedly in the spotlight to finally make his Test debut.
The 29-year-old back-rower is ready for a shock selection on
Thursday in the Wallabies squad to play England in a three-Test series.
Houston, who had one year left on his Bath contract, is also expected to re-join the Queensland Reds.
The 38-time England international will hang up his boots after
Saturday’s showpiece to become Saracens’ new head of recruitment and
talent identification.
Exeter's Thomas Waldrom ruled out of Premiership final
Waldrom will miss Exeter's Premiership final clash with Saracens after being ruled out for 12 weeks with a knee injury.
"No one wants to miss the big occasion, that's what everyone works towards," said flanker Don Armand, admitting that Waldrom has been "really upset" by the injury blow.
"But that's just rugby unfortunately, that's just how the game works," he concluded.
The 33-year-old England back-rower suffered damage to his
ligament in the closing stages of Saturday's 34-23 league semi-final
victory over Wasps.
