What's gone wrong for the Falcons this year?

It's safe to say it's been a season to forgot for Newcastle Falcons this year.

After a brilliant season last year which saw the Falcons qualify for the Champions Cup and reach a play-off space, the North-East side are now favourites for the drop.

Injuries have set the Falcons back massively and after a tough start in the league they have found themselves stuck at the bottom of the drop and chasing the likes of Bristol and Worcester.

They've a massive fixture this Sunday which sees them face closest rivals in the table Worcester and after the Warriors late win last weekend, nothing will do but a win.

A win for Falcons and their survival hopes are boosted massively, lose and the drop looms large.
