The experienced hooker joined Leicester Tigers from Bath in 2010 and has plenty of European experience to duel with the best up front.
The English rake hits his jumpers in the line-outs and was once described as a potential Test match player by World Cup-winning hooker Michael Foley while he was at Bath.Hawkins has a LV= Cup winners medal with the Tigers and is dependable in a tough situation.
Hawkins joined Bristol Rugby in September 2016 on a short-term deal. The former Bath, Leicester and Newcastle hooker came out of retirement to join the club.
Hawkins has extended his contract until the end of the 2016/2017 season, this would be his final contract as a professional rugby player.
